Ear Piercing
Lobes, upper lobes, helix, and other ear placements, mapped to your ear shape rather than a fixed template. Ear work is also where most curated projects start.

Book a PiercingPiercing at Synergy Body Art is its own service, not an afterthought to tattooing. Placement is planned around your anatomy, jewelry is chosen with you in studio, and you leave knowing how to look after it.
The studio covers everyday placements like lobes, helix, and nostril through to septum, lip, eyebrow, navel, and wider facial and body work, plus curated ear projects and jewelry changes for piercings you already have.

Piercing services
Lobes, upper lobes, helix, and other ear placements, mapped to your ear shape rather than a fixed template. Ear work is also where most curated projects start.
Nostril placements positioned with your nose shape and the jewelry style you want in mind — a hoop and a stud don't sit the same way.
Central septum placement planned around your anatomy so the jewelry sits level and can be flipped up if you need it out of sight.
Lip and surrounding placements planned with attention to teeth, gums, and the way the jewelry sits while it heals.
Angled eyebrow placements chosen to follow your brow line and to stay clear of movement and glasses where possible.
Navel piercings placed with your anatomy and clothing in mind, since waistbands are the main irritation source during healing.
Wider facial placements planned in consultation — position, jewelry style, and how the piece balances with any piercings you already have.
Body placements beyond the face and ears, discussed individually so you know what to expect from placement and healing before booking.
A planned combination of placements and jewelry across one or both ears, built around balance, spacing, and what you already have.
Swapping jewelry in an existing piercing, including upgrades and help with threaded and hinged pieces that are awkward to change yourself.
Instructions specific to your placement, plus follow-up support — see the full piercing aftercare guide any time.
Microdermal and advanced requests are handled as consultations first. Contact the studio to confirm current availability for your specific request.
The process
You describe what you want; your piercer looks at the anatomy and tells you which placements will actually work well.
Material, size, and style get selected together, with healing stage in mind — initial jewelry isn't always the final look.
The area is prepared, the placement is marked and checked with you, and nothing happens until you're happy with the mark.
You get instructions for your specific piercing, and you can come back for downsizing or a jewelry change when it's time.
Choosing your piercing
Jewelry & styling
Jewelry is part of the piercing, not an accessory bought afterwards. Fit — post length, diameter, and shape — affects comfort and how the piercing heals, so it's selected with you in studio rather than guessed.
The studio's jewelry offering includes titanium, gold, opal and diamond pieces, and premium upgrades. If you want a specific look, bring reference images to your appointment and your piercer can work out what's achievable for that placement.

A curated ear is a planned arrangement rather than a collection of separate decisions. Your piercer looks at what you already have, where there's room, and how metals, sizes, and shapes will read together, then maps out placements — sometimes in one appointment, sometimes staged so each one can heal properly.
Aftercare
Most piercing problems come from over-handling, not under-cleaning. Wash your hands, clean as instructed with sterile saline, leave the jewelry alone, and be careful with clothing, bedding, hair, and headphones. Healing times vary a lot by placement, and cartilage in particular can take months.

An appointment is the best way to guarantee a time with a piercer, and you can book directly through the piercing booking link. Walk-ins are welcome when a piercer is free, but availability changes day to day, so call 720-670-0827 before you come to Colorado Mills.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Requirements depend on the piercing and your age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with their own ID and consent, and some placements may not be available to minors. Call the studio before your visit to confirm what applies to you.
Eat a proper meal beforehand, drink water, avoid alcohol and get some rest. Wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement, such as tops that don't pull over a new ear or navel piercing. Bring valid ID and some reference photos of the look you want. Our piercing preparation guide covers the rest.
Bring photos of the look you want and let your piercer assess your anatomy in person. The shape of your ear, nose or navel determines which placements will sit well and heal comfortably. Your piercer will mark the placement and check it with you before anything is done.
Your jewelry is chosen with your piercer at the studio, based on the placement, fit and what is suitable for a fresh piercing. Synergy Body Art carries titanium, gold and premium pieces, including opal and diamond options. Initial jewelry is usually a little longer to allow for swelling.
Healing time depends heavily on the placement. Lobes usually heal faster, while cartilage, navel and other placements can take several months or longer. A piercing often looks healed on the outside before it is fully healed inside, so keep following aftercare and check with your Synergy Body Art piercer before changing jewelry.
Yes. Jewelry changes, upgrades, fittings and downsizing are all part of what the studio does, including for piercings done elsewhere. Stop by our Colorado Mills studio and a piercer will check the piercing and help you choose a piece that fits properly.
Often, yes, depending on the placements and how they will heal together. Your piercer may recommend doing a few at once or staging them over several visits, especially for cartilage or curated ear projects, so each piercing heals well and you can sleep comfortably.
Don't remove the jewelry on your own, since that can trap an infection or let the piercing close. Contact the studio so a piercer can take a look and advise. If you notice signs of infection, such as excessive redness, swelling or pus, seek medical attention immediately.
