Tattoo service

What this appointment is.

A session focused on delicate, high-detail work — fine linework, micro-realism, small florals, and illustrative pieces where precision matters more than coverage.

These pieces are usually small, but the drawing and execution take longer per square inch than bolder work.

Who it suits

Who this may be right for.

  • Clients wanting understated linework rather than bold contrast.
  • Clients after micro-realism or a very detailed small piece.
  • Clients happy to size sensibly so the detail survives.
  • Clients adding a refined piece alongside existing work.

What to expect

How it works.

  1. 01A conversation about how much detail will realistically hold at your size.
  2. 02Placement guidance, since friction and sun exposure matter more for fine work.
  3. 03A design built for restraint — fewer elements, cleaner spacing.
  4. 04Standard tattoo aftercare, with sun protection emphasised once healed.

Booking runs through the studio’s booking system or by phone on 720-670-0827. The studio is at Colorado Mills Mall, inside Phenix Salon Suites, at 14500 W Colfax Ave 551A - 103, Lakewood, CO 80401 — see contact and directions.

Fine Line & Micro-Realism Session FAQ

How small can micro-realism go?

It depends on the subject. Your artist will tell you the smallest size at which your reference still reads clearly once healed. Micro-realism needs enough space for the key details to last.

Is fine line work suitable for my placement?

Lower-friction, lower-sun areas are generally kinder to delicate linework. Bring your placement to a consultation and an artist will advise.

Can this session include light shading?

Yes, subtle shading and soft gradients are common in fine line and micro-realism work.
